Emerging Leaders (Congressional Hispanic Caucus): Select students studying national, state and local government attend the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute's annual public policy conference. Students identify personal advocacy projects and present their ideas for action in the community. Fifty 10th-grade students (principally Hispanic) participate each fall. Learn more.... 720: Over 7,000 9th-grade students (of all backgrounds, but targeted to lower-achieving schools and classrooms) hear directly from business professionals as they begin their high school careers.
